Well, it was bound to happen… one day it did.

Wind came through and tipped my disposable latte cup (I shouldn’t of bought the $4 thing, and if I insisted, I ethically should of used a mug) and just ‘a bit’ spilled onto my mousepad and a few keys. Of course, I was talking to a friend about a new project of mine (whyherewhynow.org) and didn’t notice at first. Then, it seemed such a small amount that I just blotted it up and put it in my basket to go about my day.

Of course, three days later and dry my dear computer is now in a coma (with all extremely important files from the last year and a half as I failed to configure backup, filevault, or time machine). I will take it to a genius doctor and see what is recoverable… A new macpook pro is looking pretty tempting with the Adobe CS4 suite student package deal… I’m such a sheep. Apple, go ahead, herd me to a new purchase.
